What is Hypnosis, people ask me this all the time…is it like TV ? Will you make me do silly things? this is the preconceived thoughts of hypnosis.
Hypnosis is the technique of speaking to your sub conscious mind, in your language to achieve the shifts or changes you desire. Why do we have to do this? Well usually a change that you seek comes from a particular issue not serving yourself, by not serving you , you are not happy! Even though you consciously /knowingly want the change, you just can’t manage to make it happen!
In order to make the changes we have to by pass the awake – conscious mind (cortex) and speak to the sub conscious mind to create change. We do this my speaking your language and relaying your wishes and desires to the sub conscious mind , where all your emotions and memories are stores , like filing cabinets NLP while the conscious mid has steps aside.
There is many forms of Hypnosis, from a mediation/relaxation state of mind to awakening hypnosis. Depending on the requirements , a particular technique, for example EFT , Grounding, Rewind is used to maximise the client’s needs.

NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro-
Mind and Body working together , comes from Neuroscience which focuses on the brain and its impact on Cognitive Behaviour (CBT Cognitive behavioural therapy , changing the way you think and behave. Commonly used to treatment of anxiety and depression, but can be used other mental well-being areas).
Linguistics-
Language the way it is used to create our own interpretations of the way we perceive the place we live and our behaviours.
Programming-
refers to the network of pathway we create to make our behaviour both physically and mentally
The NLP Meta Model –was developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, and first published in The Structure of Magic, Volume 1 in 1975. It was later updated by Michael Hall and published in Communication Magic in 1997.

Breaking Habits
Marketing companies have for many years used the subliminal tactic , hypnotically directing your subconsciousness to a pathway of the product or service being sold. Have you ever had a friend say they have purchased a car and the colour is ….. and you think to yourself “you don’t see many of that colour car on the roads” and BANG you see heaps of them . Why , because even though you are not consciously looking for the colour car, and you may have even forgotten the conversation with your friend…BUT that colour car keeps coming up! This is what we want to create for you to succeed in achieving the goal, dream, your desire!
We are habitual , we work from learnt skills, which become so well rehearsed that , we even realise we do …….. do you think how

What is important is that once you realise that you are more than you consciously realise , then you can use the other powerful you to work together to change habits that DON’T work for you. Does that all sounds too easy , “hmmmm is it that simple ?” and it is relatively once you get the hang of it, that is “Breaking Habits”.
We tend as humans to over complicate change , event, situation, in life. It can be this simple , learn to make changes with use the power within all of us. Learn the Triggers
Triggers
Triggers are the precursor for habits, we don’t consciously know when we start a habitual behaviour or then then trigger has been set off. What we first realise is the habit, and then we look to break the habit.
If we don’t follow the process , then a permanent change is harder to achieve . Whatever your change you require , be that Stop Smoking , Weight Loss or Gain , Stop Drinking or Stop Gambling , all of these are a end product , to fix the root cause will then create the domino effect of the change you desire.
Focus
Most of us have heard the saying “like and dog with a bone” , is this Focus?
The difference between a goal and a vision is an important term to understand. Many times we set goals and then once achieved we lose or find ourselves going backwards. Goals are short term, the Vision is the over all long term lifestyle. Now in saying this it does not mean your Vision can not be flexible as you grow and see possibilities become endless, now we are ready to create our life .
Without Vision, we don’t have goals, and there for we would have no focus as there is nothing to focus on. Your conscious mind may thing different as it focus is the short term.
“Whats for dinner
“Need to book the car in for a service”
“Must get the bins out tonight”
All of these short term focuses , start and finish very quickly and repetitive. If you are unsure of your vision , then try and reverse engineer. go forward and think where or what you might be or like to be , and then work back to how you would make it happen……..Now you are starting to focus and create , the start of a vision.
